Would have loved to hear more about the place - such as space around the dart board for uninterrupted playing, whether there's dedicated lighting for the board, what they have for food etc.

But good to know that there's a darts option on Colorado after Lucky Baldwin's took their dart boards out!

        Good thoughts, William.

The dart board is in a fairly good area for play but definitely not a spot solely designated for that activity.  Still, it is good to be near the hubbub, too.

As for the food, if you're close to that end of Pasadena, I suggest you stop in, give it a try and give us an update.

        Thanks for your comments.

Just wondering if your listings will eventually include Orange County?

      Thanks!

        Appreciate your question, Anne.

My thought is eventually to include as many places as possible. It pains me that places are falling away so quickly; even in England I would go to alot of pubs and see vacant circles where steel tip dart boards used to hang.

Please recommend any that you think would be of particular interest or of which people might not be aware.

Brits is my local haunt, and I've played more dart there than probably anywhere. It's often tough to get the board though as one of the tables is pretty much under the board, and nobody likes to have darts thrown over their head

Food is good, beer is good, place has a good regular clientelle that's generally pretty friendly. Heck, I've kept going back for almost 4 years now.

Lucky Baldwin's took out their boards a few years back, the John Bull is long since gone, along with it's boards, and I'm not sure what the status is over at McMurphy's or Old Town Pub these days. Even Molly Malones over on Fairfax got rid of their board after "an incident" a year or so ago! Our bristleboards are a vanishing breed!

I'm glad to find sites that are trying to keep track of where we can keep throwing our sharp pointy objects while drinking beer

Thanks for an informative post.  The times I have been to Brits I've found it truly hospitable, although as you say the darts can be a bit difficult - but at least they still have them.

Increasingly I find myself in darts bars/pubs that have just removed their boards, moved them to a less accessible area or replaced them with soft tip.  If you find any others in this area (or any other area) an e-mail is always appreciated.

        Regards.
