Just across the parking lot and on the other corner from Maeve’s Residuals but with an entirely different feel (not to say one is better than the other), F & H offers an excellent selection of beer on tap and a full menu of food for both the hamburger and the fish and chips with mushy peas set.  Friendly staff with what I am told are authentic accents.  One dart board on the left as you enter, kind of dark but sometimes that helps my game.

Despite the old world name, on Fall Sundays you’ll find American football on the big screen not the most beautiful sport; also, a home for the Red Sox Nation.  Two dartboards, no food, Guinness, Smithwick’s, Stella Artois on tap and, oh yes, Miller Lite which brings to mind the Monty Python question, “How are American beer and making love in a rowboat alike?”
